Most 905B cards with WOL require the driver to configure the card correctly and set D3 state before it will wake the machine up. That means you cannot do WOL from power-off, you must boot the OS first. Most 905C cards can automatically configure the chip when stand-by power is first applied. My 3c59x.c driver added WOL configuration back in '99, but the verion you are using may not have the support. -- Donald Becker [email protected] Scyld Computing Corporation http://www.scyld.com 410 Severn Ave. Suite 210 Scyld Beowulf cluster system Annapolis MD 21403 410-990-9993 _______________________________________________ vortex mailing list [email protected] http://www.scyld.com/mailman/listinfo/vortex
