How to bring back eth0 interface

Hi,
I am using 3c905 TX Fast etherlink NIC and linux 2.4.19 distribution.The
NIC was working fine.
But when i built and installed a WireLess Lan card driver (version
linux-wlan-0.14-pre3 got from web)
the ethernet card got disconnected.I need to restore it again.

When i tried ifup eth0 it says..3c59x driver does not seems to be present..
How to bring back the eth0 interface again.?

Please help me in this regard.
