System freeze with 3com 3CXFE575CT

Using my 3com Cardbus Card my System often freezes, that means nothing
works, no Ctrl-Alt-F1 Switch to Console, no Sys Req, no reboot. I have
to switch the System off an reboot. This behavior seems to be not to
be reproducible. Sometimes it happens direct after a fresh reboot,
sometimes it happens after Suspend -- resume. It doesn't matter wether
using a Web Browser under X or fetchmail from Console. 
My connection to the Internet is by Lan (University) or by DSL Modem.
