I am using debian woody 3.0 stable.
My network card is a 3COM 905B.
In my messages file I can see the following message:
-----------------------------------------------------------
kernel: eth0: Too much work in interrupt, status e401
------------------------------------------------------------
It seems so depend on the network load, how often this happens (every 5
minutes)

/proc/interrupts says:
           CPU0
  0: 28630999 XT-PIC timer
  1: 18582 XT-PIC keyboard
  2: 0 XT-PIC cascade
  6: 36 XT-PIC floppy
  8: 3 XT-PIC rtc
  9: 875049 XT-PIC aic7xxx, usb-uhci
 10: 3321776 XT-PIC eth0
 15: 3 XT-PIC ide1
NMI: 0
LOC: 28631647
ERR: 0
MIS: 0

Is there a reason for me to be worried about that?

Regards
Juergen Sandner
