sorry for sending a second time. at first i got the wrong mailbox :( i have a problem with the dual-cards from 3com. i cannot set it into full-duplex mode just by issuing module-parameters (neither options=0x204,0x204 nor full_duplex=1,1 works) workaround is to use mii-diag, but i need to do it via kernel-module-parameters. workaround for the workaround would be to fix the switch, but this is not option, too :( output of vortex-diag for both cards: vortex-diag.c:v2.02 7/1/2000 Donald Becker ([email protected]) http://www.scyld.com/diag/index.html Assuming a 3Com Generic Vortex/Boomerag/Cyclone adapter at 0xa000.
