3c59x problem

Hello. I have a problem with 3Com NIC 3c905. Kudzu sets 3c59x driver for this NIC (3c90x driver doesn't work), and it works perfectly for some days, but then it became too slow, pings became horrible and `service network restart' cures it all in a moment, so problem is with NIC itself or the driver. I advised with some specialists on this problem and they recommended to send problem report to driver maintenacer. Some background: this NIC is installed on LAN server running ALT Linux Master 2.2 (Orange) and serving 150-200 computers (student hostel), thus traffic isn't so large because almost no services are enabled.
