Re: Rx errors with Cyclone

Hello folks,

It's been a while since I started trying to figure out my frame error problem, and now that I figured it out, I thought I should announce my results to the group in case there is anyone else that might benefit in the future.

As suggested by Bogdon Costescu, I replaced all the cat-5 with new, and even bypassed a wall plate. Unfortunately, that didn't fix it. I was really only left with three other scenarios:

1) I had really found some sort of bug (unlikely)
2) I was dealing with some sort of EMF near my cat-5
3) My switch had gone bad.

I chose to replace my Linksys 10/100 8-port switch, and voila it worked! I honestly, wouldn't have even thought about this being a problem (considering that the swith was only 1 year old).
