Greetings all, I am currently responsible for installing 8.2 on a server here and I believe I am having a problem with the 3c905c driver. ifstatus eth0 shows me what I believe to be an ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff MAC address. /var/log/messages give me a 'NETDEV WATCHDOG eth0 timed out' type of message. In addition I cannot ping any other ip address besides the one I have assigned to the server. A few other details are, lspci -v shows that the 3c905's IRQ is set at 11. There are some USB 'chips'(?) set at 11 as well, I believe this is causing the conflict but I'm not certain. Is it safe for me to assume that the 3c905 driver issue (as archived) is what I should persue. Thanks for any help, Steve M _______________________________________________ vortex mailing list [email protected] http://www.scyld.com/mailman/listinfo/vortex
