Getting started... can't flash!

Hi all,

I just went and got a Pretec FA-2000, but wishing I had read the list
first... looks like there are cheaper cards. 

Anyway, I'm unable to flash the image with the card explorer software under
windoze.  It says that "12 volt is missing" or some such.  Is that because
the card is not initialized under XP yet?  When it came up with the typical
"install software", I hit cancel because I don't have a driver for that card.

I'm using win because I don't have a Linux box with a card slot in it.

Any ideas appreciated!

p.s.  I'm also open to mailing my card to some gracious soul who could flash
it for me...
