I have used my w200 on my Compaq laptop on RH9 for some time now and everything worked fine. Now I have installed Debian. I have downloaded the source 0.2.2, and gone through make KERNEL_SRC=/usr/src/kernel-source-2.4.26 make install make load Everything went nicely. I get the message that I have to copy some files to the right place to make it work at boot time, I have noe idea where to copy them to... This is not so important, I can manually load them. I see that they are loaded the modules get loaded, but when I hit FN+F2 nothing happens. tail -f /var/log/messages tells me that there is no module for usb product. So obviously something is not right. Can someone please help me and guide me through the last steps? I feel I'm getting close now... Regards Trond Mæhlum -- Trond Mæhlum <[email protected]>
