Hello, we have got an embedded Linux system (x86, 2.14.18 Kernel). A Boa Webserver is working fine. Now we want to send EMail via SMTP. The SMPT Server is outside our Intranet, so we routed a standard gateway. Now we have to solve the Server Name to an IP Address for socket programming (using getnamebyhost()). That doesn`t work. I suppose we have to give Linux a DNS Address (or a DNS Client?). What do we have to install? Thank you for any help!
