is it possible to access

Hi,

I am new to enbd and I want to know if it is possible to "share" a device with 
more than one client.
The configuration should be as follows:
[1] The server exports a device, which is also writeable for it
[2] the clients import the device as readable and sync with a local partition 
constantly

Is this possible? Has anybody a working setup like this? Or is this idea 
really dumb?
