I'm running on a P4 non-smp/without hyperthread, 1gb memory, with acpi 
enabled.
It's the debian 2.6.8 kernel, compiled with woody's gcc 2.96, whith P4
target, but i tried too the original 2.6.8.1 and it's the same.

can you please send me your current fr1 patch to be sure that we are on
sync (or confirm that the ftp one is the good one)?
