yes, i think so. it took me too much time to figure that out. and i'm also sure
some of the Makefiles in your enbd package should get the blame, but obviously
not the one in 'kernel/linux-2.6.x/drivers/block/enbd' dir of the nbd source 
tree. because, in that dir, if i issue a 'make -C /usr/src/linux-2.6.8 SUBDIRS=`pwd` modules'
, the enbd.ko generated by the command can be loaded properly. and 'make test'
will succeed.

but i don't know which Makefile goes wrong.

excluding the enbd.ko and enbd_ioctl.ko ?
