Hello I'm new to this list my name is Jacek I don't find myself as linux profesional so my question may sound stupid. The question is about the filesystem on the server side of nbd connection. In the online HOWTO I've found the folowing line: nbd-server 1100 1101 1102 1103 /dev/sda1. It is written that the /dev/sda1 may a partiion or a file. In my application I'd like to use /mnt/tmpfs where the tmpfs filesystem is mounted. It's a ramdisk with his own filesystem (tmpfs). So is it possible to use ext2 for example on the client side?
