Newbie: ENBD on kernel 2.6?

Hi

I'm trying to build ENBD 2.4.31 on Fedora Core 3 with kernel 2.6.9. It 
barfs pretty early looking for file 'Rules.make' in the kernel source. 
Is this normal?

I guess I'll try 2.4.32pre - are these stable enough for production use?
