make test fails (Kernel 2.6.12.3)

Does anyone have issues getting make test to pass all the tests?

enbd-2.4.32 compiled against 2.6.12.3 smp kernel fails consistently on 
test 2:

test 2 FAILED:  2048 incorrect blocks

and at the end it various other tests:
