Well, it's about the same as a non-minor major. But a bit less. :).

That is a development snapshot. I wouldn't call it a "release", because
I don't seem to follow that model! It's as stable as I can get it, yes.

Someday I really ought to bump the number, but that would really wreck
the debian packaging! The date is a fine "version number" anyway! I see
the file on the ftp site is dated Nov 28, but then these things get
copied every day automatically. Looking inside, as far as I can see
the last real file mod date is

     2005-08-24 23:03 nbd-2.4.32/nbd/enbd-test.c
