I'm not using any at the moment! My laptop is in 2.4 because 2.6 is
somewhat unstable on it (when compiled smp).

But it looks like

   vmlinuz-2.6.12.3-SMP

is the latest I can conveniently test on.

I think so. I have been writing papers recently, not testing.
