I tried to compile enbd too, from the newest archive, and i'm quite surprised : In the archive, the sources of the module in kernel/drivers/block/
seems to have been changed in september, but when compiling ( just make in nbd dir ) against 2.6.12.3, it uses a quite old patch, enbd-2.6.8.pat,
from july.

it compiles, but nothing match the sources discussed previously in this thread.

I'm a little bit confused...

I tried to apply the patch to the kernel too, and it fails to compile (as far as i remember, in july it was working).

So : are you sure that the archive is up to date for 2.6.x kernels ?
