Hi - I saw a mail from you but I'm afraid I was in reflex delete all
spam mode and my finger continued deleting before my brain could
register it. Can you send again?

How are things? Can you show me the debian/ subdir dir you have ready?
(I'm a bit puzzled that the build-archive tool can't cope with an
existing debian subdir .. surely it should be able to move or patch
it).
