Hi,

I am working on EVMS 2.5.5 with kernel version 2.6.18.2 and configured evms
as shown in user guide, when I saw /dev/evms folder in that two evms
partitions are exposed as hdb1 & hdb2. Now when I try to create object of
snapshot with following command:

EVMS:c:o, Snapshot={original=/dev/evms/hdb1, snapshot="My Snapshott",
writeable=false}, hdb2

It gives me error: hdb2 was rejected with error: Invalid argument

The query volume output are as follows:

EVMS : q:v

Output of above command on EVMS :

Volume Size: 954.32 MB

Minor Number: 0

This volume is not mounted.

Filesystem: Ext2/3

Max Filesystem Size: 16.00 TB

Min Filesystem Size: 32.26 MB

Volume Name: /dev/evms/hdb2

Major: 253

Minor: 1

Active: TRUE

Volume Size: 8.57 GB

Minor Number: 1

This volume is not mounted.

Filesystem: Ext2/3

Max Filesystem Size: 16.00 TB

Min Filesystem Size: 189.13 MB

Please let me know if any one has faced this problem earlier or if there
something missing in the command. Any pointer of suggestion will help me to
come out of this.

Thanks,

Imran
