Hi everybody

I am working on evms 2.5.5 for snapshot . I have configured kernel
2.6.19 with necessary pathces for evms as shown in evms user manual .
I have created volume with FAT32 filesystem on it. I can mount filesystem &
added some data into it.
Now , i want to take snapshot of the above volume on
another disk . On other disk , i have created a partition . After that i am
able to get Snapshot , But My snapshot is not active . Though I am
activating snapshot object it is not activated .
When i give command EVMS: q:o
 then it result as :
  	Object Name: Snaphdc1
	Major: 0
	Minor: 0
	Active: FALSE
	Object Size: 4.99 GB

	Object Name: hdc1#origin#
	Major: 253
	Minor: 5
	Active: TRUE
	Object Size: 4.99 GB

When I create volume on top of snapshot object , I am not able to view
snapshot volume inside
/dev/evms/ . But when i use command inside EVMS engine q:v , It displays
that volume .

 EVMS: q:v
Volume Name: /dev/evms/VolSnaphdc1
Major: 0
Minor: 0
Active: FALSE
Volume Size: 4.99 GB
Minor Number: 0
This volume is not mounted.
The volume is either unformatted or contains a filesystem for which EVMS
does not currently have an FSIM.

My problem is that , I am not able to mount snapshot Volume as it is not
seen in /dev/evms .

Any suggetion will be helpful for me

Thanks & Regards ,
Harshal
