Please run evmsgui with the debug level set to "debug" (i.e., "evmsgui -d debug"), rerun the scenario that produces the error, and then send me a gzipped copy of the log (default log file is /var/log/evms-engine.log). It should have some clues as to what EVMS was trying to do at the time of the failure and what went wrong.
