Hi! I been successful at growing an LVM2 region, and then it's associated EVMS volume, but I was wondering if I was missing something when it came to shrinking that volume. Here's the thing. I had a failing hard disk, and I wanted grow the LVM2 region to a new disk that I added to the system, and then shrink the LVM2 region off of the failing disk, which I then could remove from the system. Adding the new disk to the LVM2 region was pretty much a snap, expanding the LVM2 region was also easy. However, when I wanted to shrink the LVM2 region, I couldn't, as all it did was list the new drive that I added as a possible drive to remove. I've done this operation using straight LVM2 commands, and it was pretty easy. I was wondering if EVMS only supported the shrinking off of the last drive that was added, much like the drive linking capability.
