evms and scsi commands

Hello All,

I am new to evms and want know scsi command support in evms. I want to
fire scsi commands over disk volumes 
created by evms. e.g. I have written small program for inquiry and
trying to execute it on /dev/evms/sda1. But no o/p.

so please anyone suggest me know what is problem.
