I have EVMS installed in multiple locations. I would prefer to take a
migration away fairly slow. How compatible is EVMS with the lvm2 tools?

For example, I use the snapshot feature to perform nearly all of my
backups. Would it be a mistake to use lvcreate/lvremove to perform the
snapshots on my EVMS volumes? Of are they compatible enough that this
wouldn't create problems? All of the containers I'm using the snapshot
feature against were built using the lvm2 plugin in EVMS.

P.S.  It really is a pity! EVMS has proven to be an outstanding tool
