hello
i have server with hardware raid controller
i created new raid array that exported to OS as "/dev/sdf" drive .
after that i started evmsgui , it complained something about partition
table on new disk , i said "no".
after that i closed evmsgui without saving , and removed array i just created .
now when i open evmsgui again it report about IO error on /dev/sdf/,
and i still see /dev/sdf in hard drive list and /dev/evms/sdf in
volume list ( i didnt create this volume , it was created
automatically ).
what might be a reason for such behaviour ?
as i understand , evms should just scan existing hard drives and show
drives and volumes that found..
maybe it RAID controller's driver problem ( it doesn't report to OS
that drive removed ) ?
or it normal behaviour and it will be ok after restart?

i have following errors in /var/log/messages

sd 1:2:3:0: SCSI error: return code = 0x40000
end_request: I/O error, dev sdf, sector 0
sd 1:2:3:0: SCSI error: return code = 0x40000
end_request: I/O error, dev sdf, sector 0
sd 1:2:3:0: SCSI error: return code = 0x40000
end_request: I/O error, dev sdf, sector 128
sd 1:2:3:0: SCSI error: return code = 0x40000

Thanks.
