We are currently using EVMS 2.5.4 on Linux kernel 2.6.20 On trying to create more than 200 shares, what we are observing that EVMS is reporting as no available containers / volumes that are available. The region node entries (/dev/evms/.nodes/lvm2/<Containername>/) are appearing after activating but the corresponding volume node entries (/dev/evms/) is not appearing. Because of which, we are not able to mount the volume and make use of them. The error message that is getting reported in evms-engine.log file is as follows: check_containers: Container lvm2/testshare is missing 1 PVs. The detailed evms-engine.log file is attached with this note. Kevin/Steven/All: If there is any way in which the data can be recovered from the above condition, please let us know as it is very critical for us to recover the data. Unfortunately, the existing data was not backed up for quite some time now. Thanks in advance for your inputs Srini ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
