Hi, First off thank you for putting evms together. Once I got my mind to let go of fdisk/mdadm/lvm2, I found evms to make my life much easier. I am currently trying to raplace some hard drives on a server with simple segments to a new raid/lvm2 "scheme". Ready to take it down, boot to a live cd and copy the data until I noticed the object-replace part in the user manual. I just see where to start. Example I have: /dev/evms/sdb1 mounted as my /var formated reiserfs I want to move it to my shiny new /dev/evms/var (LVM2 on top of RAID1) formatted ext3. Is this something object-replace can do? If so what I am missing? (Object Replace window is always empty). EVMS v.2.5.5 Kernel 2.6.20-hardened-r6 (gentoo) Thank you - Giulio ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
