evms_commit_changes(): Invalid argument on linux 2.6.24-rc2

Hi, I'm a newcomer: greetings to everybody!

I just did a plain upgrade to kernel 2.6.24 from 2.6.22: I maintained exactly
the same userpsace tools, no changes to volumes. I verified needed kernel
modules (scsi, libata, device mapper; fs are builtin) are loaded in my initrd
(like it happened with 2.6.22). The error I am getting is:

	Error returned from evms_commit_changes(): Invalid argument

I tried recompiling evms tools with debug enabled, but "emvs_activate -d 9 -v"
gave me no other useful informations regarding this problem. Previous kernel
still works, so no broken configurations or somewhat.

I'd like to provide more debugging info and possibly my configuration layout,
but I need to be instructed on what to provide, as i don't know anything more
than using evms frontend tools. It could be a kernel regression but, again, I'd
like to know at least what is failing before filling a bug report.
