Do kernels prior to 2.6.19 require six parameters?  If so, the number o=

parameters needs to be made conditional on the kernel version, since th=

are plenty of systems out there running kernels prior to 2.6.19, e.g., =
RHEL
5.2 and SLES 10 SP2.
