That cad is not willing to do stuff is normal until HA services have been started; ignore cad for now, it does nothing but talk to the GUI ;-) Again, what version of FailSafe are you running exactly on what platform? Can you please provide the exact error message? I suspect you are running into the glibc incompatibility issue; to run on RH 7.2, you need a recent version from CVS; the RPMs at ftp.sgi.com will not work. I will push updated RPMs for SuSE to ftp.suse.com today or tomorrow. Maybe Scott could provide updated RPMs for RH too?
