Hi, Thanks for answers so far. I think I have some problems with my database. Starting fstask generates a message " no machines found in the CDB" and " can't obtain logical name of local machine from the database" in the crsd-localhost logfile. When I look in var/lib/failsafe/cdb/cdb.db it only contains the row " CDBHDR " and that's it! I don't know much about databases but it doesn't seem right. Also, using the command 'cbeutil create' I get "unable to open CBE file /var/lib/failsafe/cdb/#: No such file or d...." Though there is a mime type directory cdb.db# and a mime type file cdb.db in /var/lib/failsafe/ . I think this is why the configuration hangs when I click on 'Define a node', but I could be wrong. Should I configure the database somehow before I start setting up my new cluster configuration, and if so how? Does failsafe work with JFS? I'm beginning to worry that I made a wrong decision in what filesystem to use. I would really appreciate your help with this one.
