Failsafe (beginner) HOWTOs?

After getting some help from members of this list, I hope I could get some
support again. I have downloaded Failsafe packages from
ftp.suse.com/pub/project/failsafe and have them installed on SLES7.

I get Failsafe up and running and I can start GUI with connection to one of
the nodes. I created a failover of an ip adresse, but it does not switch as
I expected it in case of failure.
The testing scenario is very simple. I started with to out-of-the-box PCs,
one of them is primary node, one of them secondary node. The primary one
owns two ip adresses, physical and logical one, last one should be taken
over to the secondary node in case of failure. If I reboot the primary node
the logical ip is taken over - sometimes.

While testing LifeKeeper in parallel, I like to know if there are any
step-by-step manuals for FailSafe as they are available for LifeKeeper
(where you have detailed manuals for Apache recovery cluster, Oracle, and
so on).
