installation HOWTO

Hello to everybody!
Who would be so kind to explain me the compiling and installation
procedure of failsafe software. When I try to make (of build rpm's) on
my Mandrake9 box I suddenly receive an error:Cannot find class
"FtrIcon"[JLS 8] and the process stops!
