Failsafe CVS

Hello list,

can anybody tell what's going on on oss.sgi.com cvs-server?
I've read a lot about moving the server to another computer center and then 
replaying the cvs-date from backups.
But like many others mentioned before the cvs is outdated.
I really depend on the new fixes by Oliver Jehle because I have to upgrade my 
existing cluster to Red Hat 7.2.
Any suggestions what we can do to wake up the admins at SGI?
