I run tridentfb on a cyberblade i1.  Some debugging led me to the
command line:
video=tridentfb:1280x1024@61,fp,bpp=16

IIRC, there was a bugzilla entry for that problem, 1424 refers to an
unspecified LKML posting.  Hmpf.

That is correct?

Look into tridentfb to find what valid resolutions are available and
choose one of them.  tridentfb should show valid resolutions when
command line failes.
