Hello, I'm the proud owner of a Toshiba Libretto 100CT sub laptop that has an 800x480 LCD screen. I'm using the 2.6.16 kernel. I'd like to enable bootsplash on this machine but need a 16 bit or less framebuffer to do so. I found the 24 bit framebuffer mode of vga=806 but I'm unable to figure out a 16 bit (or less) mode that for the 800x480 resolution. Is there a full list of modes that someone could refer me to or is there another way to "discover" the correct vga= number that will enable 800x480 at 16 bit color or less? Thanks much in advance, Patrick. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by xPML, a groundbreaking scripting language that extends applications into web and mobile media.
