Using fbdev to play videos on MPlayer

hi,
    I am working on a  freescale board(Linux Target mage Builder - Ltib). I have enabled directfb and fbdev for mplayer.When i try to play a video i get the video output but it is smudged. 
Below is the log that mplayer provides whn trying to play a file

Please could anyone point out the reason why the video is not playing properly.
Is it some problem with configuring the framebuffers.
