Done. Started without kdm at boot time. fglrx did not load and no longer shows up on 'ls -l /sys/bus/pci/devices/0000:01:05.0/driver' - nothing does. However, radeonfb still is dying silently. I forgot to upload my kernel config file on the last post, so I've attached it to this one. Apologies for not having it all together the first time. - Paul >From: "Antonino A.
