RE: 'default' permission not working with SAMBA + EXT 3

Samba 3.0.9 and up contain an ACL bugfix, but I haven't had a chance to test
it yet and see if it's related to this problem:

>From the description it sounds like it was a bug introduced in 3.0.7, so
probably not, but it's worth trying.  It'll be a week or two before I can
test it because I just made some other changes, and when I'm working on a
problem I try to follow a strict "change one thing at a time" policy.
