Problems use setfacl

Hello!
     I am use Debian kernel version 2.4.22-xfs, when a use the getfacl its ok, but when I use setfacl this form:

ls -l arquivo.txt
-rwxr-xr--    1 sgarioni ti              0 2004-03-29 09:29 arquivo.txt

id bruno
uid=1002(bruno) gid=100(users) grupos=100(users),1001(rh)

setfacl -m u:bruno:rw arquivo.txt
setfacl: arquivo.txt: Operation not supported

How I resolve this problem?
