How about kernel 2.4.26

Hi,
I am remastering knoppix, knoppix is currently on kernel 2.4.26. The
current acl patch is at 2.4.25. Are there any timeplans to migrate to
2.4.26, if so, what is the procedure? I have alread aplied the 2.4.25
patches to the knoppix kernel (which is far from prestine). I could
technically get it to compile and create a new patch, this however wil
not garantee any good functioning, I know my limits when I see them, I
don't want to mess arround with a filesystem I don't know enough about. 

Compiling my own 2.4.25 knoppix kernel somehow misses some bits and
pieces to get is safely through the knoppix boot process and therefore
not functional and is no option for me.
