In my opinion the libacl library that implements the POSIX 1003.1e draft 17 = interface wasn't all too successful, and so my current idea is to provide = some library functions that convert between the text forms that nfs4acl = understands and produces and the xattr representation. This should be = relatively close to what nfs4acl currently uses. There are no useful = standards in this area, so I don't think we need to be too formal with that. Are you looking into nfs4acls for Samba? If so, can you give me a status = update? Samba support would be really nice in the near future (say, within = two months from now); I know that there is real business interest in this = topic.
