In fact Andrew already had them in -mm for a couple of days, but took them out again. You should be able to find a few messages in lkml. I wanted to add a reply cache on the client side to further speed up things on top of the current code before pushing for mainline again, but didn't find the time to do so, yet. Any help would be highly welcome, of course. SUSE was shipping a 2.4 version in SLES8, a 2.6.5 version in SLES9, and we will ship this version with SUSE Linux 9.2.
