I have the same problem but with any kernel and the newest version off xattr user tools. getfattr workes fine but setfattr always sais "Operation not supported". After nealy giving up it seemed that attr, which is said only to work with xfs, just worked but not setfattr, which is meant to be used for ext2/3, which I am using. Tell me if attr works when you tried it. Hope this helps, Peter -- Peter Rullmann <peterpan AT fsinfo.cs.uni-sb.de> [ICQ: 22931645] Richard-Wagner-Str. 72, 66111 Saarbruecken, Germany. +49/681/9388281 _______________________________________________ acl-devel mailing list [email protected] http://acl.bestbits.at/mailman/listinfo/acl-devel
