About: The aim of auch is to visualize harmonics in musical recordings and
the effect of analog/digital filters on the spectrum. There are plenty of
tools that visualize the spectrum. The difference here is that one or two
octaves can be focused on, so that notes, chords, and harmonics become
clear. Another feature is that this tool is aimed comparing audio out (eg.
a .wav file) with audio in. This way, external filters added between the
audio output and input of your sound card can be studied.
Changes: A sixth visualisation of harmonics in auch is the "IFS display".
It's a fractal representation of music, based on "Iterated Function
Systems". These IFS systems act as the "recipe" for a fractal derived from
basic harmonic ratios: octave (2:1), perfect fifth (3:2), major third
(5:4), and major seventh (~15:8). This display allows you to zoom in on a
slice of the sphere with the fractal image to show more details of that
fractal.

About: Axiomatic Multi-Platform C (AMPC) is a C to Java class file
compiler suite for the development of platform independent applications.
AMPC can also be used to integrate C and Java programs since AMPC's C
functions can directly call numerous Java methods and vice versa. AMPC
supports a very large subset of ANSI C (1989). It can be used to develop
new applications using C as well as port existing applications written in
C to run on JVM enabled devices. A JNI (JVM Native Interface) feature is
available for calling native C or C++ functions. The asm() directive can

About: barvinok is a library for counting the number of integer points in
parametric and non-parametric polytopes based on polylib. For a parametric
polytope, the number of points is represented by either a piecewise
quasi-polynomial or an Ehrhart series.

file integrity system. If samhain is used in a client/server setup,
beltane enables the administrator to browse client reports, acknowledge
them, and update file signature databases stored centrally on the log
server.

About: bug is a simple tracking system for console users. It only depends
on common Unix commands. Its database format is a text file containing
simple tabbed columns which can be even hand-edited. It uses $EDITOR for
submitting or editing the issues and for changing states or priorities. It
relies on four fixed fields: ID, Priority, State, and Subject. There is
also a fifth free-text field for any other information you may want to
store about the issue. There is no database locking or notifications, so
it's mostly for tracking the user's own issues.

seems there are no clear bugs.

Object Relational Mapping (ORM) plugin for Eclipse that provides
round-trip code engineering support with Java. The tool acts as a bridge

About: Manhattan is a Web-based course management system. It includes its
own private email system, a variety of discussion groups, assignments,
surveys, and grades modules, live chat, facilities for delivering
multimedia, and more. Designed for asynchronous Web-based distance
learning, Manhattan can also be used to add an online dimension to
traditional courses. Manhattan is fully documented.
Changes: This release adds a completely Web-based Grades manager and
support for the commercial GradeQuick package. Also, users are informed of
unread messages at login. Several enhancements have been made to the
Surveys module. Messages can be "flagged". A number of bugs have been
fixed.

About: TinTin++ is a MUD client that runs in console mode. It compiles on
most Linux sytems, including Cygwin.
Changes: The telopt code was updated to allow logging in on globalvillage
BBS. The #buffer find option was added, which works much like grep but
instead places the scroll back buffer at the given search string. You can
now add lists of keywords between square brackets divided by separators in
actions for trigger matching. The #list find option was added to search a
list and return the index if found, otherwise zero. You can now save
loaded paths backwards.

About: tkccrypt is a small text file editor frontend for Peter Selinger's
ccrypt written in basic Tcl/Tk. The program allows opening and storing
only encrypted files, and it guarantees that the decrypted content is
never written to disk. Its target audience is made up of users who don't
feel confident using a console encryption tool, but need encryption for
some text data. The dependency only on ccrypt and Tcl/Tk makes this
program very easy to run on many Unix systems.
Changes: This release allows Opening, Saving, and Saving As. It keeps
passwords for file session, and asks for new password only if it's the
first save or Saving As.

About: VMT (formerly Vehicle Maintenance Tracker) tracks the maintenance
of multiple properties. Property can include vehicles, boats, planes,
buildings, etc. This project is comparible to Auto-Do-It. Since this
program uses Java, it is cross-platform.
Changes: The two main changes in this release are the ability to archive a
property to a separate file and remove all unused services and vendors.
There are several bugfixes and some user functionality improvements.

About: Yruba provides a rule system similar to make or ant for the shell
(bash). It provides a clear separation between a list of dependencies that
must be up-to-date before the current task can be performed, an explicit
test that checks whether the target is really out-of-date, and a command
that finally makes the target. Everything is plain bash syntax, so there
is no new command language to learn.
Changes: The mapFilenames function was enhanced to allow for the
extensions of mapped file names to be left unchanged.

About: The Zip extension for PHP aims to provide a convenient and powerful
set of functionality to work with zip archives. It can read, write, and
create zip archives. It also supports stream access to any archive entry.
It is 100% compatible with the old versions of the extension (which were
read-only).
Changes: A possible leak in statName and statIndex was fixed. A
zipArchive::adEmptyDir() method that creates an empty directory was added.
setComment was fixed when used with a freshly added entry. setComment now
returns the expected value (boolean).
