About: CacheGuard is a Linux-based operating system dedicated to Web
traffic control and optimization. It transforms an x86-based machine into
a powerful, Web gateway appliance. It allows you to secure Web traffic for
Web surfers and Web servers by acting as a forwarding and reverse HTTP /
HTTPS proxy. It supports HTTP transparent implementation, HTTP
compression, Web caching, URL black- and whitelist guarding, and Web
server load balancing. It features a stateful firewall with NAT and PAT,
and a content filtering module blocking malicious HTTP requests like XSS,
SQL and Command Injection. It integrates a caching DNS, a DHCP server, a
bandwidth shaper to manage the QoS, a load sharing system, and an HA (high
availability) mode with VRRP and link bonding.

Changes: The administration audit module is activated even if the "filter"
and "rweb" modes are not activated. In the command "rweb", when adding a
reversed Web site name, a mandatory IP address must be given for a HTTP
Web site as well as for an HTTPS Web site. The QoS policy for a reversed
Web site has been changed to be based on its public IP address. Some minor
bugs have been fixed in the QoS module.

About: Canorus is a cross-platform music score editor. It supports an
unlimited number and length of staffs, polyphony, MIDI playback of written

LilyPond. It features multiple viewports of the same score, scripting

About: CHSM is a language system for specifying concurrent, hierarchical,
finite state machines (a realization of "statecharts") to model and
control reactive systems. It uses its own statechart specification
langauge annotated with either C++ or Java code fragments in the tradition
of yacc grammars with C code fragments. The generated code is fully
object-oriented allowing multiple state machines to exist concurrently.
The run-time library is small, efficient, and thread-safe. It has been
used successfully in production environments such as CERN for controlling
high-energy physics experiment equipment.

Changes: This release adds a port for the Groovy dynamic scripting
language for Java.

About: DBAHelper is a collection of scripts to ease the daily  maintenance
work of Oracle database administrators.  Examples are moving objects
between tablespaces,  analyzing schemata, and rebuilding invalid indices.
Also included is a little framework to simplify the use of RMAN (this
framework depends on the use of Oracle 10g with the Recovery Area enabled
and properly sized, so all backups go there).

About: Deliantra is a client for Deliantra game servers. It offers an
intuitive user interface for exploring the vast game world, a persistent

Perl, SDL, and OpenGL for high performance on modern systems, and works on
both Unix and Windows. Ports to other platforms should be very easy and are
underway.

Changes: The client now fully supports a tabbed view for messages and
information windows. Also, the (experimental) widget extension that allows
servers to create dialog windows and other widgets has been enabled.

About: DeVeDe is a program to create video DVDs (compatible with home
players) from nearly any video format. It only uses Python 2.4, MPlayer,
Mencoder, DVDAuthor, VCDImager, and mkisofs, so it has very few
dependencies. 

Changes: The EXPAND parameter in Mencoder now always uses an even offset
to avoid some artifacts when the offset was odd. A bug when dragging and
dropping video files has been fixed.

About: Evolvotron is an interactive "generative art" application to evolve
images/textures/patterns through an iterative process of random mutation
and user-selection driven evolution. If you like lava lamps, and never got
tired of the Mandelbrot set, this could be the software for you. It's
implemented using Qt, and is multithreaded. 

Changes: Mainly a development release focusing on memory management (now
makes extensive use of Boost smart pointers), cleaning up threading code,
using precompiled headers, and replacing the messy static-initialized
function meta-information with something less troublesome. There are
several minor end-user visible improvements. For example, the default
number of compute threads is now set to the number of processors found,
colours tend to stay in a sensible range instead of saturating, the
application icon is derived from the last spawned image, and there are a
few new functions.

About: GSTorrent is a Bittorrent client/server system. A daemon program
handles all the file transfers as a Bittorrent client. The GSTorrent
daemon also acts as a server for an external GUI client. The objective is
to have a relatively small Bittorrent client, which runs on a small
computer without a graphical interface and to control this server from a
different machine. An example of this type of architecture is the mldonkey
client/server system for the edonkey protocol. 

Changes: Stopped/restarted or paused/resumed downloads very often remained
in the 'connecting' state indefinitely. When this happened, it was
necessary to delete all the previously downloaded data. This show-stopper
has been fixed.

grid problems. It is part of a project intended  to develop scalable
algorithms and software  for solving large, sparse linear systems of

coarsening algorithms were added. Several new solver types were added to
AMS and the AMS/FEI integration was improved. Handling of the relative
change test in GMRES was improved. The weights for Struct and SStruct
weighted Jacobi were improved. A "make check" target that does a simple
code verification test was added. Truncation for interpolation according
to the number of elements was added to the ParCSR Hybrid AMG Solver. The
hypre fei implementation was renovated for use in ARES.

About: LDMUD is an LP-class MUD engine, meaning it is  object-oriented,
with all object clases stored in unique files. The engine runs compiled
bytecode to manipulate those objects, and the underlying simulated
processor is a stack machine. It is a 3rd-generation LP-class MUD, being
derived from Amylaar, which in turn was derived from the original LPMud.
The game has no limitations on the nature of the game space other than the
limits of your coding.

includes the capacity to generate individualized "tokens", so that

About: Mednafen is an OpenGL command-line driven multi-system emulator
with many advanced features. It emulates the Atari Lynx, GameBoy (Color),

About: NRL NORM is an implementation of NACK-Oriented Reliable Multicast.
