About: CodeViz is a call graph visualisation tool which uses a variety of
different data collection methods to generate its call graphs. Using a
modified version of the GNU Compiler, very accurate call graphs that
precisely reflect the compiled code may be created. If using a compiler is
undesirable, CodeViz is able to directly parse C/C++ code itself, and even
analyse binaries with objdump, so it will work if the source isn't
available.

About: fio is an I/O tool meant to be used both for benchmark and
stress/hardware verification. It has support for 12 different types of I/O
engines (sync, mmap, libaio, posixaio, SG v3, splice, null, network,
syslet, guasi, and more), I/O priorities (for newer Linux kernels), rate
I/O, forked or threaded jobs, and much more. It can work on block devices
as well as files. fio accepts job descriptions in a simple-to-understand
text format. Several example job files are included. fio displays all
sorts of I/O performance information. It supports Linux, FreeBSD, and
OpenSolaris.
Changes: Proper file sharing between jobs was added, complete with various
lock types and counts. Lots of bugs were fixed, including critical ones.

About: GNetWatch is an application that offers real-time graphical
monitoring and analysis of network performance through SNMP and ICMP. To
get an instant view of the network state, data are collected, stored, and
displayed every few seconds. Two traffic generation modules are available.
The former can flood UDP packets of any size (jumbo frames for instance)
and tagged with any DiffServ/ToS flag for QoS and class of services
testing. The latter can generate a huge quantity of parallel requests to
any HTTP(s) server for Web application load testing. To automatically
discover new hosts, GNetWatch can make use of Ethereal/WireShark and later
invoke NMap to get information about the remote systems. Note that IPv6 and
SNMPv3 are fully supported by GNetWatch.
Changes: This release comes with a complete rewrite of the internal data
engine, now based on an Object-Relational mapping performed using
hibernate. Configuration parameters, targets, and collected data are now
persistent and stored in an SQL database. Users can thus browse previously

About: Word War vi is a side-scrolling shoot 'em up '80s style arcade
game. You pilot your "vi"per craft through core memory, rescuing lost .swp
files, avoiding OS defenses, and wiping out those memory hogging emacs
processes. When all the lost .swp files are rescued, head for the socket
which will take you to the next node in the cluster.
Changes: The dashboard was rearranged. The starfield background was added.
A nasty bug in audio code was fixed. Space worms were added. Octo-viruses
will now damage your ship. Blimps shoot lasers now. Window size can be
changed through the commandline. The frame rate can be adjusted.

About: xorriso creates, loads, manipulates, and writes ISO 9660 filesystem
images with Rock Ridge extensions. It can load the management information
of existing ISO images, and it writes the session results to optical media
or to filesystem objects. This is the standalone version that incorporates
the libraries of libburnia-project.org and thus depends only on Linux 2.4
(or later), libc, and libpthread. No separate mkisofs and no CD/DVD burn
program are needed.
Changes: Two bugs were fixed, read performance was improved, and automatic
file splitting and a session logfile were introduced.
